Former Prime minister Raila Odinga met with the controversial former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga on Friday.
Mr.Odinga is said to have briefed Maina about his deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mr Njenga was accompanied by a group of youth, community and religious leaders from Eastern, Rift Valley and Central Kenya, under the Amani Sasa Foundation .
The Opposition leader encouraged the group to take advantage of the now famous handshake to help the country find lasting peace and stability.
While addressing the delegation, the former PM intimated that the handshake was a good way of tackling vices like tribalism,corruption, marginalization and divisive politics.
